I have a piece of bad news and hopefully it gets resolved soon enough.
A call from element14 reveals that the microSD socket i’m getting is out-of-stock worldwide and the leadtime is 9-11 weeks.
They kindly found me a replacement which looks exactly the same from far and i was tempted to hit the replace-and-buy button.
Sadly, the pads and contacts are slightly varying and that’s not going to work.
I’m going to work with Will to see if i can get it sourced in Shenzhen, at least for the 1st beta run.
